1. The rails are required to be clean. The high cleanliness of clean steel materials is the most basic requirement for high-speed railway rails. Steel cleanliness helps improve its fatigue resistance.
2. The surface is free of defects. This is not only beneficial to ensure the safe use of the rail but also reduces the occurrence of surface contact fatigue damage and prolongs the service life of the rail.
3. The depth of the decarburized layer should be decarburized on the surface of the shallow rail, which will reduce the surface hardness and cause premature surface damage such as wavy wear.
